1. is there any way to minimize application so it will be running on background and if yes, how can I access it later?

That's one of the great features of any Android phone - multitasking. you can launch any app and have it running in the background such as a music app allowing you to have music playing in the background while you are working in another app. To do this, just launch whichever app you want to and then to have it running in the background, just click the Home button(located at the bottom left side of your screen), you can then launch a different app while the previous one is still open. To view the previous app(s), drag down the list of icons which are at the top of your screen, using your finger(s). This is your list of previously opened app as well as your notifications. To open the app that you want, just click on it's icon. If you don't see the app you want, you might have to slide the list of apps to the left using your finger. Hope this helps.

What I think you are referring to above are the notifications of your apps being installed/updated. These notifications are coming from the Android Market app on your phone. If you drag your notification bar(when/where you see these "shopping bag icons), you should be able to click them. They will now open the android market app. If you wanted to, you can also get to the Android Market from any computer by going to www.market.android.com, this website is the online version of the Android Market that you see on your phone. It syncs with the app on your phone and you can also install any app from your computer to your phone wirelessly from the site. Make sure to sign into the website using your google email acct. to connect to your phone though. Hope this helps.
