Hi falcongray and welcome to the forum.

If you do some searches you'll find that the Random Re-starts are a widely reported glitch with *some* HTC One Xs. Why some are affected and most others are not remains a mystery. What seems to correct this with many users is to do a Soft Reset:

  • Turn phone off
  • Remove back cover
  • Remove battery
  • Reinstall battery
  • Reinstall back cover
  • Turn phone back on.

I have same problem on my One S and this thing is tottaly random, phone works fine for 1 week and 1 day dies 3-5 in row...
In a month or so i noticed this happends on low % battery (30%-) + when energy consumption grows suddenly like when someone calls you, recieve/send sms on low % battery...
So my guess is eihter battery sucks (happend to me that i used phone till it died and thats not realy heathy for battery...)
or theres problem with some software for SIM card or that function.
