Author Topic: Newbie. =] (case suggestions)  (Read 30184 times)

Hey Guys & Girls, new to the forum, my new One S will be arriving monday hopefully, and i'm super excited, and i have 2 questions:

1. Case, i'm not really a 'dropper' but just in case, and i want a screen protector, to stop scratches... Any suggestions? i really don't want to spend to much, anywhere £10 and udner is good, just wondering if anyone has had any case that really stands out for it's value..
2. Battery life, everyone seems to complain, i'll have a look myself when i get it, any suggestions on the sort of battery to get if it is that bad?

i saw this one...

Any better ideas?

Thanks for the help,

Sam Smiley

Hi sammydragoon and welcome to the forum.

1.) Screen protectors are not needed IMO. The One has Gorilla Glass which is extremely hard and scratch resistant.  Also, I have never used cases and have never dropped my phones. Cases, besides looking silly, prohibit most docks and car holders from working.

2.) Yes the Ankler is a good replacement battery. So is the Chichitec (which I use.) However, the stock battery is just fine for normal use. Most of the complaints your read are likely from new owners who *play* with their new toy excessively. Once the novelty wears off and you adjust the display down a bit, the stock battery should work just fine   Smiley

ah brilliant thanks so much, i think i will get a cheap case, just cause of the amount i keep it in the bag of my bag and other similar situations, and as i said, i'll see how it goes on stock before i consider the upgrade but thanks for making sure i'd made the right choice Wink
