HTC One X 7 Screen Dimensions

*** Preferred Dimensions *** : 960x800 pixels

Explanation
Dimension: Quoted 800x480 pixels --- "The homescreen is 800 pixels in length and 480 pixels wide. The thing is, as you swipe between the 6 other panels, the wallpaper shifts a tad bit so you need to compensate for that. 960 pixels wide should be what all 7 panels are from end to end, not just the home panel."

Image Resizer Powertoy Clone for Windows

About
This is a clone of the Image Resizer Powertoy for Windows XP -- a PowerToy that allows you to right-click on one or more image files in Windows Explorer to resize them. It was created to extend support to non-XP and 64-bit versions of Windows (including 2000, Vista & 7).

Note: Windows 64-bit users will need to download the 64-bit version of the tool.

*I have attached the program on to this post at the bottom
x86 = Windows 32bit version
x64 = Windows 64bit version

I have question about this...When I use a photo as a wall paper that green square pops up and makes me crop it and I cant figure out how to use the whole photo only a portion of it. How can I fix this?

You can change the size of the crop box by dragging it around.  If you still can't get as much of the picture as you'd like, you'll have to resize the picture before putting it on your phone.

I have done that, I have expanded the crop box as much as it expand. I have also resized the photo but when I put it on my phone and click use as wallpaper it expands in the box. What size do you suggest to resize it to? I have tried the 480x800 on a photo resizer but the photo comes out huge. Any Ideas?

Make sure you are resizing using pixels, not inches or screen dimensions.

Right, I have tried resizing in 480x800 pixels. But what happens is when I push set as wall paper the phone expands the photo to the full size of the screen and that green cropping box wont get that big. So I endup with half a photo. I really dont get it, are guys saying this doesnt happen with your phones?

Ok, I have used 480 width and 800 height and 800 width & 480 height all in pixels. Its always the same either way, the image is small when it comes in but when I click on the photo to set as wallpaper, the image is enlarged to fit the screen and the green cropping tool comes on and wont allow me to use the whole image only about half of it. Does this not happen to anyone else?

I think this is a lost cause for me. There is no way to use a whole photo as wallpaper. Cry

Try using image resizer, I have the download link at the top. That what I use and it works perfect.
