Author Topic: Loading Screen Comes Up After Using an Application  (Read 3750 times)

I have found that even just opening the mail app and clicking home the device takes about two minutes to reload the home screen and comes up with a message saying Loading. I find this extensively annoying, as I cant do anything other than pull down the notifications bar while it is doing this, and I often need to make some calls. Is there anything I can do to stop it from happening?

Hi fashionistabby and welcome to the forums.

If you haven't already done so, please take a minute and read through the forum rules.

So this is what I would try (if you haven't already.)

1.) Restart the phone. Just hold the top button a few seconds until a menu pops up, then choose Restart. This enables the phone to purge (most) cache and reset the system. This should be done every several days and is suggested by the manufacturer and often clears up issues.

2.) If no joy, then try a  Soft Reset:

  • Turn phone off
  • Remove back cover
  • Remove battery
  • Reinstall battery
  • Reinstall back cover
  • Turn phone back on.

3.) If the issue still continues, I would do the Factory Reset:

Home > Menu > Settings > SD & phone storage: Factory data reset

Note:  back-up all your apps and data prior to this step. There are several back-up type apps in the market.
