Hi,

I'm newbie for android and HTC...just purchased HTC One XE for few days.
The software update prompted me there are new software update,
but i've downloaded and click install, the phone will reboot, and prompt the "warning triangle sign during the bootup and hang"...

Any of you encountered the same issue?
i tried for 4times...failed...
can someone enlighten please?

Hi ikik84 and welcome to the forum

If continued attempts to install update fail, you always could perform a factory reset. This would likely prompt another OTA update, hopefully successful this time. Good luck.

Same....after factory reset,I'm still not able to update the software

Poor support for android....

Android really has nothing to do with it. The update comes from your mobile network carrier.

Possible Causes of the failure to complete the update:
  • mobile network connectivity - fault: your mobile carrier
  • WiFi network connectivity - fault: your WiFi carrier
  • phone owner interrupted update process - fault: you

This is not that big of deal. There was nothing significant that you would even notice in the last update. Now the next one to ICS *should* be a big deal.
