Author Topic: htc One S xe sudden drop of signal & battery heats up  (Read 8099 times)

Hi, I got my htc One X for about two weeks now and the issues that I encounter is the sudden drop of signal and the battery heats up so fast.

I cannot understand why does the signal goes off when I am in the same place where I receive the highest signal. The only solution I got is restarting the phone. But the problem is I always do this everyday.

On the battery issue, I noticed that the heat build-up on the back of the phone is not tolerable since I am just using (playing games) it for about 15 minutes. Is this normal?

Need help.. Sad

Games = Battery (or processor) overload

So is that normally happens? I mean is your phone also heats up like mine? Pardon me because I am trying to find out whether I got a defective phone or not. Cry

No it is not normal for your phone to heat up to the point that you'd complain about it, and my phone does not heat up at all.

However, if your phone *is* heating up and you are playing games on your phone, then that is where I'd look first.

The connectivity issue should be directed at your carrier.

Thanks for the reply. I am sure it is not the carrier problem because I tried different phones on the same sim card and I got good signal.

Thanks again, its good there is forum like this who are willing to help.
