Author Topic: What app for memos??  (Read 4391 times)
« on: July 28, 2010, 11:28:01 am »

I just changed from a Palm Centro to the One.  I transferred all my data to Outlook and synced with the One successfully the calendar and address book.  While oulook has the Memo folder from Palm, I can't figure out where to file that info on One.  Any suggestions?

I use color notes ,I am not sure about backing up with outlook but you can actually back it up and its very user friendly too.

Fliq Notes from Mark/Space is free, but you will have to purchase The Missing Sync, in order to synchronize with your PC (or Mac).

The following app doesn't sync with Outlook, but it syncs on the web so you can add an item on the web or the phone and they sync up almost instantly.

It's called Springpad and it's completely free: and you only need your email and make up a password to create an online account: (login upper-right-hand corner).

You can write a note, add a picture, record an audio, and if you "select type" of note, you get Note, Task, Restaraunt, Shopping List, etc.

The best thing is it's free!   I was looking for a note app that saved to SD Card, but I found this one and it is much better than the ones I tried, and actually like syncing to the web than to an SD Card.
