I saw a you tube video where a guy had a radar widget that was about the size of the picture frame widget. Does anyone know where or what it's called? I tried  weather bug Elite but it wasn't there. Thanks everyone.

Took a peek through the market and I didn't see anything pop out and say "Hey I could be it!". Sad Closest I saw was an app called MeteoDroid that looks similar to what you described, but the developer's description is written in Spanish so I can't understand a word of it. heh

It's odd Weatherbug Elite didn't have it. Their pics in the market show it, but I've never tried it myself. Sad

Is this what you are looking for?

It is Weather But Elite, just add a widget to your screen and it is the maps one.

Found a free app Radar Now. Try it and let me know what you think. It uses gps current location and brings up a live radar view.

I've tried Radar Now, it's ok.  I rather WeatherBug Elite because of the satellite view and you can zoom in as if you were using Google Maps.  With Radar Now you can only zoom in once and the view is only in map view.
