Pony Photo (Windows Phone) free in may $0

Pony Photo has all the usual effects that the others offer - image effects like grayscale & sepia, frame and image size adjustments/cropping. But it also includes a GIF creator (stack various still images into an animated GIF) and a collage creator

Plain smartphone photographs can be boring. Here's how to add zing to your phone's photos with a bunch of free apps.

Pixlr o-matic (Android)
An Instagram clone but one that goes one up in terms of interface , ease of use and speed of operation. It offers mainly retro style and old camera effects and weathered frames.
Once done, you can easily save or share. Pixlr o-matic is also available online using a web browser, for iOS, on Facebook, as a Chrome web app and as a Windows/Mac download.

Pho.to Lab (iOS)
Pho.to Lab is great if you want to create fun montages, collages, contact icons or phone wallpapers. It includes over 450 different photo effects, filters and also features intelligent face detection that automatically adjusts and places a person's face onto a montage.
Once you're done, the edited image can be stored on the phone or shared directly to various social networks. Pho.to Lab is also available as a free online photo editor and for Android devices.

PhotoClub Free (BlackBerry)

Other than applying basic adjustments and adding various effects, PhotoClub Free lets you insert little clipart and frames to your photographs.

Once done with editing, the images can be shared via BBM or directky with your social networks.
