Yes, I've turned USB Debugging on and I'm now connected as Charge Only. Still no dice.
Very frustrating.....

I wonder if it would be worth re-installing the SDK? BTW, I'm not getting any error messages.

Seems like an awful lot to do for a screen capture...
I'll probably just wait until something better is released or when the quick root is fixed.

So I'm still trying to set up the SDK for screencapturing. A colleague suggested that I need the correct USB drivers. I downloaded the drivers and I'm trying to update the driver of the ADB device in Device Manager (Windows XP SP3). When I attempt to direct the wizard to the driver directory, it fails to find anything to install.
Any suggestions?
TIA, David

Thanks guys! Now that it's working, can anyone tell me the service used by Sync so I can disable it as I have no intention of using the app and don't want it running all the time? (I assume that uninstalling the app will also uninstall the USB driver.) Yes, I want it all!

On my computer. Sync is now starting when I boot the machine. I don't see anything in the Startup folder and I don't want to have to exit from it every time from the system tray.

Right, I'm looking for what the service is; haven't a clue based on the names.

I think it's something like client initiated synchronization starter if I remember correctly.

What are the prerequisites I have to install before I even install the SDK thing? I can't get this screen shot to work AT ALL, and its really buggin me. I'm using a usb port directly on the motherboard, so its not that....

So, I finally try the directions that Boosted posted and it works!
I'm posting my lock screen and my home screen
Not rooted...using Launcher Pro and some text icons I found online.
