ive tried zagg on my previous phone.  offers the protection of all screen protectors but because of the rubbery texture you get to much friction which i find anoting and spoils the whole touch screen experience.....so i thought i would try HTC branded one from their website and i have to admit brilliant...no problems with the fitting including the raised edges which some protectors struggle with.  finger glides on the screen without too much friction offers good protection cheaper then zagg and best of all you get two.

I was looking for the invisible shield for my One S at a retailer, and he wouldnt sell it. He told me the spray would leak into the screen on the One S? Is this something to worry about?

Would hate to ruin the screen Tongue

I have not seen this problem anywhere else, but i got me a bit worried:P

That is rubbish what he told you if you apply it sensibly and with common sense it won't happen, however as a small curveball I sent back my zagg protector after a week as it was not smooth and somewhat resistant to the touch which makes it impractical for a touch screen phone

I've used 3 screen protectors before, and the current one I use is the best one.  I use GadgetShieldz and it outshines my last 2 screen protectors. When I say "outshine", I mean it literally. The screen protector was more transparent, and clearer; it didn't add any visually noticeable blur, nor did it "dull" my screen,  unlike my last two. Also, GadgetShieldz was a lot smoother, and it didn't add any rough texture to my screen. I didn't encounter any air bubble problem during installation, I just zipped through. I haven't experienced the issues that are heard a lot when it comes to some other screen protectors. Switching to GadgetShieldz was an upgrade.  And it was cheaper too, it only costed me $7 for FULL body protection, plus free shipping, compared to InvisibleShield, (which was my first) which costed me $14 for screen protection ONLY.

I spent more time than I care to admit looking for the perfect protector online, and between all the conflicting opinions, got nowhere.

I was pretty happy with the plastic cover that it shipped with (yes, the one you're supposed to remove) - nice fast finger-feel, but admittedly a little - OK, a lot - glossy.

In the end, because I needed one pronto, I just walked into a T-Mobile store and bought theirs.  Two for $10 (approx), goes on dry, glossy.

* Wonderful finger-feel.

* Cut slightly smaller than the screen (which I though would bug me but actually didn't at all - I just made sure the four buttons at the bottom were fully covered, which left the logos at the top a bit exposed (no matter, since the finger never needs to do anything up there).

* Came with a few light but noticeable scratches/lines across the plastic, which I again though would bug the hell out of me but in reality rarely crosses my mind.

Finally, dust is your mortal enemy.  The protector adhered beautifully everywhere except in a half-dozen places where the tinyest speck of dust got in the way, leading to a slight bubble.  Again, thought I'd be crazy with that, but in reality never really think about it.

Do we really need a screen protector on a gorilla glass?

I use Copter Screenprotector
It comes with a spray applicator and a small squegee

The thin film has a slight rubbery feel to it.
In bright sun, dust seems to collect on it and makes it difficult to see what is on the screen.
Despite that, I still have it on.

I found out the hard way that the best way to apply the spray and film is to:
clean the screen with the cloth only.
apply spray to the film, let it drip off most of the exsess fluid,
apply the film holding the phone on a slant, do not lay the phone flat
use the squegee to remove fluid and bubbles, always in a downwards motion
immediately remove the fluid that comes out
turn the phone as you do this for all sides
remove fluids as soon as it comes out

I ruined one screen by applying a lot of fluid and having the phone lying flat as I aplied the film.
The fluid came in everywhere and made streaks under the screen it self.

Shop replaced the phone for me, I just told them I had no idea what happened to it.

I decided not to put any sort of protection on my One at all! HTC used Gorilla Glass and made the housing sturdy with aluminum for a reason. I'd like to enjoy my phone's design and feel unhindered.
Using the phone "naked" makes it stand out as well among the crowd who hide their phones in layers of protection (thus making them look the same).

If my phone's going to get scratched then so be it. With the rate of advancements in mobile tech and the rate phone makers churn out newer models, I do not think I will keep my One for more than 1 or 2 years anyway.
My 2 cents.
