I bought some crappy screen protectors from radio shack, and al they are is bubbles and scratches. No matter how hard I try to apply them bubble free, it never happens. Any suggestions?

I prefer Clear-Coat to everything else. Zagg Invisible Shield are also good.

I've used Zagg Invisible Shield for my previous phones for the last 2+ years. Gonna get one for my One this weekend. Applied correctly, it will last and is a great product!

Have you tried Ghost Armor? I am also hoping that Ballistic will be making an HC series case soon.

I had radio shack put on my first Zagg, don't do that! They squirted the solution all over the phone which zagg says not to do...it kept curling at the corners with the silicone case I had so i registered it and requested a replacement..3.99 later I have one. It seemed to go on fairly well altho be careful not to touch it with dry fingers, also be careful not to damage it when you are trying to peel it off the paper. Once you get it on there and all the bubbles out, let it sit for 24-48 hours (i know-big drag) before you put your case on. So far so good, i had a cheapo protector on and while i liked the durability it was way to shiny, when i try to show people things on my phone it was too hard to see so i definitely like the zagg over that. i got one with my case mate pop case too but it appears to be one of those shiny ones. LOVE LOVE LOVE the case mate pop tho! good luck!

With any of the wet-apply protectors, you NEVER spray the phone. You follow the directions, which say to first spray your fingers, then spray the back of the protector, then apply it to the phone. Then squeegee it, blot any remaining liquid and let it sit to cure for a couple of hours. I would recommend letting it sit for at least 2 hours before cleaning it with window cleaner (spray the cleaner on a paper towel or cloth, NOT the phone), and at least 24 hours before putting a case on. And never, ever, EVER do what some other moron did, which was to spray the phone and get it extremely wet, then stick it in the oven for a few hours. (Yes, they really did that.)

Yes never ever apply water directly to the phone, if you only use the amount that you can put on the screen protector it shouldn't be a problem. Also a good cheap pack of protectors are ezguardz you can buy them on eBay or at their website here for the One. They are the static cling type so they don't last as long as the wet install type but I like them because they are reusable and you don't have to use water. http://www.ezguardz.com/EZguardZ-HTC-One-4G-Screen-Protector-p/htc%20inspire%204g.htm

Actually, there are many equal, and better, than Zagg. "Best" is a matter of opinion.

Im not even going to put a protector on the One S, it has gorilla glass screen which is highly resistant and to be honest i dont know how well a protector would go on given the curved edges of the screen, if anyone puts on a protector like Zagg and the others post pictures so others can see how it well it goes on etc

I totally agree - why would you bother with an annoying, reflective, bubbly screen protector when you have gorilla glass? I thought the whole point is you don't need a protector
