I have tried iBeats and some other earphones exclusively made for iPhone/iPod *rolleyes* and the functionality of the volume+/-, recieve call, etc on the earphone usually does not match that of my phone.
Now that there's Beats for HTC One XE, will it work the same way for our old One model?

The earpieces wont work with anything special unless you install the updated updated Media Player.
Look on XDA forums, the patch has already been released there.

Otherwise, wait for the XE rom to be completely done. It will install fine on the One as it is exactly the same hardware...
