Hey guys ive noticed no1s really discussed anything abt the mhl to hdmi cable so i think i shall.
I bought 1 off of ebay a few days ago, cost under 20pound with free shipping.
The cable has on one end the male micro usb that plugs into the charge/usb port of your mhl compatable phpne ( i think atm, thats only the One S, gs2 and evo 3d), and has a female hdmi port on the opposite side. Next to the hdmi input thers also a female micro usb port, this is for a mains power input, as for some reason the cable requires additional power. You plug a hdmi cable into the female hdmi port, plug a mains connection and connect your phone, and the phone will output succesfully to your output device such as a hdtv!!

The experience is pretty nifty, the crispness is retained, the detail, you have very little blur, oddly though, the sound is abit low for my liking. Could be my root version. Im using android revolution hd i think it is called..
Gaming looks great, tried gameboid with pokemon fire red, smackdown 2 on fpse, and pokemon stadium 2 on n64oid, all looking good, with stadium looking exceptionally good i must say. Pocket legends and angry birds also quite impressive. Video and music output fine, though my tests of 720p files wer abit jumpy, but could have been the file itself. 480p file runs as smooth as it dus on phone. 1080p file lags like crazy on phone so i expected as much on the tv. Another odd thing, when i tried skype, i found that the video had outputed to the tv as fine, but the sound remained to output through the phpne, weird since sound from everything else outputted fine from the tv... And finally web browsing also nice.

how do you get the phone to output picture and audio via the cable to a TV? My phone ignores the cable accessory that I bought from HTC. I can't find a setting that tells the phone to send signals via the USB output.
